Roosevelt: The Mastermind Behind Eight Decades of Communist Disaster
Chapter 17
Clinton Creates WTO Disaster
III. Biden sponsors most-favored-nation treatment
After Jiang Zemin, the leader of the Chinese Communist Party, came to power on the blood of the “June 4th” students, he bribed the Clintons, interfered in the US election, and formulated a special plan to infiltrate the US Congress; around this time, then-Senator Biden changed his attitude towards the CCP and helped the CCP join the WTO, which is likely related to the CCP’s infiltration. This also shows that the CCP’s interference in the US election and the hunting of Biden began as early as 30 years ago when Jiang Zemin was in power.
Joe Biden (Joseph Robinette Biden Jr.), born on November 20, 1942, served as a federal senator in his hometown of Delaware from 1973 to 2009; Biden ran for the Democratic presidential nomination twice in 1988 and 2008, but failed; he served as the 47th Vice President of the United States from 2009 to 2017.
Biden has been married twice. He married his first wife, Neilia Hunt, in 1966 and had two sons and one daughter. He married his current wife, Jill Biden, in 1977 and has one daughter. His ex-wife Neilia and eldest daughter Naomi died in a serious car accident in the winter of 1972, and his eldest son Beau Biden died of brain cancer in 2015.
In April 1979, the United States sent the first congressional delegation since the Chinese Communist Party came to power in 1949. The 37-year-old Biden, as a senator from Delaware, visited China for the first time and met with Deng Xiaoping, the most powerful figure in the Chinese Communist Party at the time. Deng Xiaoping was initiating market reforms to China’s command economy at the time.
Biden said that he was still a “greenhorn who had just entered the Senate” at the time, and after that visit to China, he “had a long-term interest in the evolving nature of the Chinese Communist Party.”
In May 2011, Biden happily recalled the visit when he received Chinese Communist Party officials as vice president. Although he acknowledged the existence of controversy, he said that he “still holds the belief at the time: a rising China is a positive and positive development not only for China, but also for the United States and the world.”
In 1989, after the Tiananmen Square massacre, Biden introduced legislation to create a federally funded media network to promote democratic values in China. Radio Free Asia was launched in 1996 and has been in operation ever since. James P. Rubin, an aide to the Senate Foreign Relations Committee who later served as a spokesman for the State Department, said Biden realized that China (the CCP) was a “brutal system.”
During the presidency of Republican George Herbert Walker Bush (January 20, 1989-January 20, 1993), Biden said in 1991 that China’s record on human rights and unfair trade practices was reprehensible.
According to the record of the discussion in the U.S. Congress (for details, see: Records of the discussion on China’s most-favored-nation treatment in the U.S. Congress during the period of 1989-1998), in 1991, during the discussion on China’s most-favored-nation treatment in the U.S. Congress, Senator Biden made a firm statement at the time, saying that he did not agree with then-President Bush’s intention to extend China’s most-favored-nation treatment. Biden also pointed out that “if the Chinese Communist Party continues to act like a rogue villain on the issue of arms proliferation, we should send an unambiguous message… refuse to grant the Chinese Communist Party most-favored-nation trade status.”
During the presidency of Democratic Party Clinton (January 20, 1993 – January 20, 2001), in 1997, Biden joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee (SFRC) of the United States Congress to participate in the formulation of US foreign policy. The SFRC’s powers include supervising and providing US foreign aid, arms sales, etc., and is also responsible for reviewing the nominations of major State Department officials.
SFRC has an important influence on US foreign policy. Having long-term diplomatic experience has become one of Biden’s main political advantages.
In September 2000, when the US Senate discussed whether to end the annual review of China’s most-favored-nation treatment for 20 years and achieve permanent normal trade, Biden was a staunch supporter; this was very different from his attitude in 1991.
Clinton ran for re-election in 1996, and a political donation case broke out in which the Chinese Communist Party tried to use money to influence US politics and the Clinton administration’s fundraising activities.
The earliest suspicion of the Democratic Party’s fundraising activities appeared in an article in the Los Angeles Times on September 21, 1996. Later, the Washington Post published an article by Bob Woodward and Brian Duffy, revealing that the U.S. Department of Justice found through an investigation of fundraising activities that Chinese agents tried to make direct political donations to the Democratic National Committee from outside the United States before the 1996 U.S. presidential election. This report made the American public aware for the first time that the Chinese Communist Party was involved in this incident. The report said that intelligence showed that the Chinese Embassy in Washington, the capital of the United States, played a coordinating role in the donation process, and that it was a violation of U.S. law for non-U.S. citizens to donate money to American politicians or political parties. In the end, seventeen people were convicted of fraud or the crime of channeling Asian funds to the U.S. election; many of them were good friends of President Clinton and Vice President Gore.
A 2006 report by Japan’s best-selling biweekly SAPIO detailed the details of how former U.S. President Clinton and his wife received large donations from Chinese spies, and several other high-ranking Democratic Party officials were also involved.
From 1992 to 1996, the Clintons repeatedly received political donations from “overseas Chinese leaders” from all over the world – agents of the Chinese Communist regime in the United States, spy organizations of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Communist military. The total amount of this money is said to be at least tens of millions of US dollars. Clinton’s return gift was confidential intelligence from the US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), the Department of Defense, the State Department and other departments, as well as the latest military technology.
Zhong Wen remarked: In 2000, President Clinton gave Jiang Zemin a big gift, unlimited most-favored-nation treatment. In 2001, he allowed the Communist Party to join the WTO and opened the US and world markets to the Communist Party, which was tantamount to inviting wolves into the house. In 12 years, the Communist demon was fattened; Xi Jinping came to power in 2012, and today, 12 years later, the Communist demon has been energized again. Finally, the plowshare has been turned into a sword, aimed at the United States, and wants to replace it and compete with the United States for world leadership. The Communist demon has not changed its nature since Stalin, and has been tossing and turning for a hundred years, dreaming of the West kneeling and surrendering.
